Hazendal Wine Estate seeks to inspire cultural conversations through thoughtful winemaking, crafted luxury hospitality and meaningful art. Rooted in history yet forward-looking, the estate thoughtfully explores what it means to be a South African wine farm in the 21st century, striving to contribute to a hopeful future for contemporary Africa.
Introducing Hazendal’s new winemaker during her first harvest, we put Kiara Scott front and centre, emphasising her at the helm of Hazendal. In order to really place the viewer at Hazendal, a voice-over of Kiara was used to guide the narrative of harvest.
Taking “minimum intervention” as our guiding principle, we leaned into a natural look and honest documentary style.
